Looks pretty good to me!!

I agree with thartwick1, not bad at all. Gotta love that texture, it makes Jessi a real beauty. The lighting might be a bit even, which makes her face look flatish. But the only real problem that I see are her pupils: the reflections should really not be mirror images of each other and should continue on the irises. Oh, and by the way: I cheat. I postwork all the time. No big things, and usually no painting, unless there are really ugly artefacts. But a little color correction here and a bit sharpening there can make all the difference.

This is nice!

Beautiful portrait! I agree totally with odf on the rest of it... her pupils might be diulated a bit big for that light though.

excellent work and texture except the eye reflection

There is something about this render that just makes you you feel like you could reach out and touch her. Lighting : if the subject's head is turned to the right (as above), then the main light should generally be above and to the left of the camera (whereas I think you main light is slightly elevated, but to the right). That has resulted in the nostril shadows be a little harsh and her face shape not being bought out as much as it could. Also - she would look great with some shadows cast from her hair on the left and her face (depth mapped probably the best option in this case, with a low bias). OcclusionMaster : a bit of balancing required here with Jessi - since she only has one head material zone - you've got the MaxDist perfect for her lips and eyesocket area, but maybe it's a little low for her nostrils, so important to keep the main light elevated and with tight shadows.

tr beau portrait, mais un daut saute aux yeux, c'est la reflexion des yeux,l'image qui s'en reflete n'est pas dans le bon sens.sinon excellent travail si on sais qu'il n'est pas retouch dans photoshop.

I'm not as knowledgeable as others posting here about occlusion and raytracing but to me this looks like a photograph portrait of a beautiful young woman, not Jessie from P6 :) Nice work achieving that. I'm also taking notes of what face_off has to say!

As usual face_off is right on. I would not only elivate the main light, but maybe even turn down the intesity slightly. A little more work on the eyes and I think you have a winner here!

Wonderful facial expression and texture.Great lighting and render. Fantastic work!

I think the portrait is just great. It's hard to spend hours and hours rendering image after image with lights and shadows moved just ever so slightly to try and get the perfect image. Eventually you can't see the wood for trees and you just post whichever render you like... I think you've done pretty damn well here! (V)
