Description
Upper sunpillar - Reflection Halo. Sometimes you can see a light beam over the setting sun. This beam is a result of reflections of the sun in oszillating ice krystals.

Yes, icecrystals high up there cause that effect, although we cannot see it so many times on our latitude, it seems that around the polar circle it happens more frequently. Impressive capture, Reinhard, love to see it!
