Description
This contains some firsts for me. To start with, I set out to do this one in two parts because I knew that one file would be too big to render. As such, the mountains, the ground, the castle the cloud background and the thin fog around the mountain top- was all one file and one render. The mountains and the ground the castle sits on are all FreeZone. I made a new color texture for the mountains in photoshop- first time I'd used the impressionist brush. I let the original bump map plugged in and just switched color maps- came out better than I thought it would. The Castle is a freebie from Renderosity called "Dark Castle"- I applied some new textures I already had on file. The cloud background is from the BK storm clouds free sampler. The fog- and for that matter the rain- are both from RDNA's weather pack. The Imaage of Sosa was over-layed and applied in the same way I did it for the second movie poster.
Once this file was rendered, I set to work on Sonja and Vampi- getting them on their horses. The horses are Poser standard with the New Western saddle and the Charger bridle from Daz. I cheated on the reins and drew them in- I simply could not get those poseable reins to co-operate. The saddle bags were a freebie from Renderosity I think and the tree is a Mapps tree.
Then, I called the first render back in as the background applied RDNA's rain- which was another first- and rendered the whole package.
For those of you who like to keep count, there are nine more renders to go before this story's done.

Story Text is a bit on the short side, but a good outdoor image, showing off all the major players!
