These are 3 frames of a 2 second clip of animation. It is part of a 2-3 minute animation project, featuring the characters currently in my gallery, on which I am (slowly) working. The finished piece will have been shot in Bryce then tarted up in Photoshop. Featured here are frame 1, frame 15 (at 15 frames per second,) and frame 30 of the 2 second clip. To give a summary of technique, the wound is a negative terrain booleaned into the positive abdomen. The globs of blood are just spheres which look rather bland while still; but when the whole animation zips by in 2 seconds, your eye sees them as blood splattering out of the wound. The rest of the blood is provide by a red light within the wound cavatiy and reflection. If anyone would like more detail, please let me know. Comments appreciated.
