Description

Still playing around with the fog and haze and the rays of the sun. I wanted to get the rays from the sun. But I didn't quite accomplish that. Still trying to feel my way around Terragen, it's a learning process and I'll get there. Thanks for viewing. The Terrain is from the May/June challenge...I think...

Beautiful surface!!!! That grass looks positively real. Excellent POV, and there are again some great tutorials on the web for rays. You have to fiddle with the settings but it has to do with the darkening of the clouds etc. Ummm the links I used to 'teach' are: http://www.terrasight.net/v6/index4.php?site=../v6-tutorials-eng and: http://www.basinski-net.de/tutorials/clouds/Clouds6.htm that second link if you scroll down to the bottom and keep hitting the back button you will get to the beginning. I liked this one best as it explains all the other settings within the cloud/sun/atmos dialogue boxes. Clearer for me to understand. :) Good luck and keep this up, you're doing fantastic!!!!
