Description

*Reposted* I don't know how some of you will take this. Maybe you will say I am wrong. Maybe you will say it's a message long overdue. What ever you may think, it's your opinion. The message is this: I am tired of all the hatred. The opression. The Violence. The Racism. We are all Human. But, we are all different. No two people are the same. But....we still continue to hate. Because our neighbours pray to a different God? Because the guy who run's the local store wasnt born locally? Because our Doctor was trained in another part of the world? Because the kid's on the school bus like to dress in black, and wear New Rock's? Because the captain of your favourite team is african? When will it end? When we have killed all those we hold dear? All for a Name? A Church? A God? The colour of our skin? Preference in clothing? Music? It has to stop. ~*Blessed Be*~

Amen. I completely agree. Powerful image, the tear is the perfect finishing touch. And a powerful message too. Racism and hatred and fear are the reactions of the non-thinking to the unknown. Unless we all learn to view the unknown as a source of wonder and an opportunity to learn and grow I'm afraid hatred and oppresion and terrorism and racism will continue. And we all have to make the decision for ourselves. Each of us can choose to remain ignorant, to blindly follow a leader who will tell us what's good and what's wrong while abusing his loyal followers for his personal gain, or we could choose to see and think for ourselves, to embrace other cultures, other religions, and learn and grow. Thanks for sharing!
