Description

This friend of mine got a really neat tatoo on her back - when I first saw it, I suddenly had this image burning in my brain - of her in b&w and the tattoo blazing out of her in full color. I pitched the idea to her, and she went for it. We sat down and took some pictures. I removed the tattoo in Photoshop, then used Lightwave to create the colored lighting effect and the textures in the tattoo. BTW - Luceo Non Uro is Latin for "I shine, not burn."

This is a great photo and your friend is a beautiful woman. But, with all respect, the postwork effect is just too tacky for my taste.
