Nicely done, the effect of the radiation comes off nicely :)

On star trek they claim that when the shields are hit a brief burst of cerenkov radiation is emitted.. cant understand how but oh well. This one is well done.

Thank you Vebhe! Synapsefyre, I always wondered how those "inertial dampers" kept the crew from being turned into puree. Oh well, it was always fun watching Shatner emote...
