Description

"In the tallest tower-the Tower of B'all'nezbett, the Tower of Kings-his ancestors had studied sorcerous lore, conducted their malicious experiments, indulged their sensuous appetites-not decadently as men of the Young Kingdoms might behave, but according to their native instincts....." My rendition of Michael Moorcocks's doomed reaver. ~Product Credits~ Michael 2.0 Michael Conforming Long Hair The Alchemy Chamber from Daz3D DNA The Dragonlord Full Metal Gothic Armor for Michael VersaCloak M2 Headpiece by Maveris *free item* from RDNA Black and Gold Gothic Armor Texture by Ravnheart Chain & Scalemail by Gorodin Fog by derketo *free item* Sword of Light by Keihan *free item* from Renderosity Rendered in PPP. The default DragonLord face was extensively tweaked for a more custom look, standard RDNA texture maps used for head and hand skins, DragonLord subdividing mat pose edited to take Gorodin scale textures in MatPoseEdit. Hair texture colors, circlet colors and reflection maps, and fog colors set by me in Material Editor. Keihan's Sword of Light was broken into parts with PPP Grouping tool, rescaled and reproportioned by dials, reassembled, exported, reimported and rescaled to become a 6' Two-Handed Broadsword. Stormbringer texture colors set in Material Editor, rune bumpmap custom made with UVMapperPro and Adobe Photoshop 6.0.1. Lights from The Alchemy Chasm set slightly modified to match the sorcery effects. Postwork limited to blending of two fog layers and signature, done in Adobe Photoshop 6.0.1 Comments and Critiques always most welcome! To fans of Sword & Sorcery art and fiction, and with a special dedication to Mr. Michael Moorcock and the fans of his Elric of Melnibone series. Thank you for looking, I hope you enjoy.

I think the architecture is too monochromatic and angular/massive for the styles of the Dreaming City. Elric's armor might look better if the dark regions were blacker. Stormbringer is always described as having a dark aura. A bit of shadowing about the feet would help, too.

I pretty much agree with the comments above but as a rendition of Elric himself, I rather like it.

Ditto Connatic and SamTherapy. A very original way to portray the great albino. Please do some more with him.
