Dear viewer, I find myself at a loss... I can hardly put these images into 'Abstract' because they are readily recognisable... neither in 'Transportation' for the fact you couldn't go an inch in any of them! 'Fantasy' might be appropriate (except unlike some people I never really held a great 'Romance' about having a car the 'Glamour' of fast cars is lost on me.. I was never into car 'Modelling' either as a lad, I always thought that was for 'Science Fiction' nuts or 'Faeries'). I like these images though... to me they are more than just 'Objects'... I couldn't tell you if they were 'Works in progress' because I'm not into auto salvage .. Aha!!! they may come under 'Architecture' or 'Home' for tiny 'Animals' or those in search of 'Alternative' housing.... They could go in 'Historical' and 'Horror' as statements of blown investments and trophies of destruction....but that is to court a pretentious 'Atmosphere/Mood' for a 'Realism' even possibly 'Surrealism' / 'Virtual Reality'. As a 'Social commentary / World Event' they could be posted as a statement about alcohol & driving... but this again is not fully accurate for the facts are not certain in each case... 'Aviation' is a new thought..bearing in mind the possible airborne nature of a car prior to impact... But maybe that may sound a 'Weird' way to give 'Illustration' to something that might 'Career' off the road and end up at the wreckers. 'Step by Step' I have found this quite a 'Challenge' to classify these pictures in my BMW series. Each vehicle has it's own 'Story' and 'Character... Formula' 4 cars also never seem to end up at wreckers yards so 'Sport' is out of the question. It certainly is not 'Humour'-ous when such cars become 'Weapons' in the hands of 'People' on the road. (Whether they be 'Youth..Artists', 'Gothic' 'Pin Ups'.. whoever even on 'Film/TV'...) . I think the categorising of such pictures into their own 'Space' would be helpful ... but if only I knew which was best???? It may be the 'Fashion' to view these as a natural texture and colour 'Collage'... a sort of 'Food' for the eyes. Certainly the creating of them is a 'Scenic' 'Science'... So let's 'Sea' what genre we can put these 'Creatures' of mine into. 'Music' sounds good but apart from a few 'Car toons' on the car radio, it may not be in any way appropriate... They may be old cars but 'Medieval' might be stretching it a bit... I can tell you this is getting frustrating (it's no 'Holiday'). Well.. ummmm ...lets see... what's left????? *sigh* only three... 'Macro' 'Fractals' and 'Still Life' - I'm sure it isn't a macro or fractal so I had better choose the other one or people might think I'm a procrastinator!
