To be quite honest I was actually gonna suggest it was a photograph and you were trying to fool us! But after visiting your site and seeing your work I thought better and realized that perhaps you were quite capable of porducing such realistic results. It's excellent...not only this picture but also the rest of your stuff on your site. Now maybe you can teach us all how to do it :)

Thanks for the feedback! The foliage was all created in Modeller. The fern textures were scanned in and applied as clip maps. Sasquatch plug-in was used for the grass. Rendering time? Well... umm... around 30 hours (!) per frame with radiosity turned on. But I borrowed the renderfarm at work so I managed to get a camera flythrough before the end of the century ;)

Beautiful and wonderful. Great sense of motion and of really being in the environment. Looks like a scene from an Animal Planet show.
