Description

Ok after all this time you'd think I'd have finished the ears and eyelids by now. Nope. Yeah, I'm a procrastinator. I got bored though, with the old grey skin so I started playing around with skin colors and came up with this. Eye colors and textures not finished--neither is the skin. Not sure if I'm happy with the skin tones yet. Plan to add a bump map to the skin to simulate pores and small wrinkles, and a "makeup" layer for such things rouge and lipstick. Which, being a male, makes me kinda queasy--me, playing around with rouge and eyeshadow and lipstick...ewww... Mesh modelled in Wings3d. Textured and rendered in pov-ray.

It's amazing to see the progress you have made from a few ploygons , to a full face, to beginning color and texturing. Some folks may not know how hard and creative making you own model of a face can be, It will be neat to see your next developments, the finished ears, and skin, as PovRay can do amazing layered skin, but it is lots of work to get the textures correct.
