Description

Created with UF, Photoshop and my own software. I don't usually like to upload images which are too similar, but I really like both this and "Fabrication" so I'm not going to choose between them. According to Encarta, the Teiidae are a family of large, carniverous lizards with forked tongues. While I was creating this image, I was thinking about how it's possible to deceive without lying. That's all I want to say about the title. :-) Apologies to people with small screens: much of the beauty of this image lies in the detail, and much of that has been lost already by scaling it down to this size. Thanks for all your comments on "Fabrication". They're much appreciated. Comments and criticism welcome for this image too.

Tremendously gorgeous! I do see chameleon eyes and the critters appear to have tangle tongues. Excellent description!

I like the 'paper cut' feel of this image! It's interesting to see the weaving, and I bet it's even more impressive in the larger size!

I love this new direction your art has taken. Great stuff you've got going here, so keep it up and I look forward to seeing what else you are going to come up with!

I like this one even better than "Fabrication." The clarity of the cutout design is incredible..and I love the interweaving ebb and flow. Interesting and excellent!

The fretwork effect is marvellous, but I must say if you look at this image for too long its does very strange things to your eyes :O)!! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series of work - congratulations
