Description

Ultrafractal After seeing this one rendered, I'm not sure that I like it. I'm open for honest comments. If you don't like it either it wouldn't bother me at all to hear from you. Thanks again for your help and encouragement on the flower series. Keith

I really like the background and the sphere but I think the bright 'lights' spoil it a bit.

Hi Keith. I like the idea, but there are some things I would change. You and I don't exactly have the same taste in colours ;-) so you can take or leave these comments. I don't like the colour transition you have in the TIA in the lower half of the image: it's a bit too rainbow/predictable; I'd be much more interested if you found an unusual combination instead. I think I'd like to see some more blues possibly - the hues in this are predominantly in the orange/yellow/green range in a way that I find odd. I like the central composition, the use of stripes, and hints at invisible spheres. I'm not so keen on the upper small spirals - they seem less detailed, more plastic, and flatter than those lower down. I like the general composition, and I also like the central strong sphere, and the darkness around the 'bunch'. The main thing for me, as I said, is the colour of the TIA-surround. Well, I hope that wasn't too honest! :-)

Beautiful! I would be curious to see you create something in a darker tone. Your images are often of the "happier", brighter variety..it could be interesting.

Your images always invoke hope, light and reflect the higher dimension of life, and this is what makes them unique. Life in its purest form is sheer beauty, and your images convey that magnificent and glorious quality of life which is beauty.

Lovely image. I love the sphere in the middle but the colours in the surrounding TIA background draws the attentions away. Nice touch that it has a blue/purple shadow. Anyway: still beautiful.

Here's my 2 cents: I'd try to crop and zoom the middle part with the sphere as the eyecatcher of the image, getting rid of the baby fractals and the TIA, or make the TIA a lot darker to make the main fractal stand out, the TIA in itself is beautiful but too much IMO

The colours are really beautiful. There was a time when everybody used the Lake transform, until it was near to artistic death. Now it is the sphere...

Everybody has a different taste, but the only thing I would leave out [if it was possible for me to create an image like this ..LOL] is the sphere. It goes well with the rest of the image in terms of colors but not in terms of the shape and It's too central imo, beside the sphere thing I think it's an awesome image keith, the coloring and the rest of the design are extraordinary.

VERY cool, Keith! Ok, putting on the "critique hat"....I'm not sure about the background colors, the green and red. Also, maybe Glass Hemi and mask an area with more of those cool gold bands and move it into position where the spohere is now to give the sphere more of a caged look - like the tip of "Gandalf's Staff". I love the central fractal design and colors, though.

I don't know enough about this program at the moment to be able to say a lot, and as a general rule I'm not too keen on lots and lots of different patterns all together, but on looking at this picture, I do actually rather like it! It's most interesting how everyone's taste in art and design varies.. To me, this is an excellent fractal design and the colours work well together. The little light effects appear to me more like little gems that sparkle in the light. I can also see that there is a lot more promise within this image. Different zooms could be interesting.

Incredible - I love this one - I love the gold bands around the globes and the golden spirals throughout. The lighting is wonderful and the gold and coral colored spirals are finely detailed. It has my vote.
