Description

Can't believe I'm uploading this crap... pissy mood and I don't know why, but of course, I will always take any criticims and suggestions for improvement. Mostly just waiting for my next image to finish rendering, and I think I can say it is my most ambitious to date. It's at 87 layers now, so it takes a while to render. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by!

I think it's really pretty. I also agree that the white background is wonderful. Can't wait to see your next one!

Kool Kaleido-fractal and what I really like is the neat circular framing - TOO cool! Yep, 87 layers is a TON! Darn things render like 100-200 pixels/second, too. I rendered on of mine with 150 at like 7200 by something and it took over 30 hours!

I like the "detail" shot better then the whole pic, but that's usually what draws my eye, just a glimpse. I like the framing, but I believe it could use a little more contrast, it gets lost in the white background.

Could have been more interesting if the aspect of a kaleido-fractal-scope had been more integrated ...perhaps the use of more of a glass prism look. The embossing is nice to look at but not... really fitting with this unless it's the edge of a kaleido scope? I really think this image is a great idea for further inspection... perhaps pick up a little kaleido scope for further research?
