Description

This is my very patient daughter, Megan, posing for me in my flower garden. (Hence, the bad pun in the title...sorry) She is such an angel and my favorite model (also my only one!). Some of you know I am in photo school now. This portrait was the one I submitted for my Mid-term grade, in which I received an A. The only thing done in Photoshop before uploading was the frame and text. Nikon D70 set on daylight color ISO 200, F4.5@400. Hope your week is going well! Thanks for looking. Jodie :0)

At least she is willing to assist your practice. Great pose. Maybe a hint of "How much longer 'till I can go do something else" in her eyes... Crop is good too. Don't forget to post some tips in forum as you learn

I wish my teenage daughter would let me photograph her. On a technical note, good backlighting and it is great that the shadows are soft as if you used a fill card or reflector. Beautifully done.

Megan is beautiful i love her little smirly smile she looks very intellegent and wise beyond her years.. a facinating and awesome potrait .. clear and beautiful she and my nell would get along great i just now it ( nell has that same kind of personality i can tell by looking at her...) ... yes she is so beautiful!!! i love this shot!!

Gorgeous portraiture Jodie.It's perfect!!!!She's beautiful and you captured her sweetness wonderfully. But I also see a maturity that is coming from her eyes and expression.She has a 'knowing' look.Kind of like an old soul.I don't know if that's true but that's what I'm seeing.Excellent work!!!!!!!
