Description

Full size render (2480x1536): http://dmytry.ancientspledge.com/secrit/clouds_and_atmos_13_3_final.jpg and in PNG: http://www.graphmonkeys.com/clouds_and_atmos_13_3_final.png Note: this image has been rendered by Anne Postma from my test worldfile, using current in-development version of Volumetrics (not released yet). Straight from mojo, without postprocessing (other than scaling image) Upcoming version have greatly improved cloud renderer and atmospheric model. For example, rays are realistically golden/red because blue light has been scattered during travel through atmosphere. It's true and accurate "sunset colors". TFV.

It was a pleasure rendering and I'm still amazed by the details when you look at the full-sized image. Well done Dmytry !

When will it be available,Dmy? (sorry to keep asking) Raylighting looks outstanding. Does sunrays penetrate water & therefore highlight? Will reflectivity on displaced water create that (starburst / intensity magnification) effect? Is the new version easier on system resources...am I asking too many questions :))) Looking forward to getting my hands on the next release:) Thx Anne for presenting this & Dmy for all your hard work :)
