Bought the R-gear by Royloo for the Girl, and had to use it. This is one of the classic anime scenes titled "Pretty, armored, flying girl with advanced weaponry destroys invading mechanistic army single-handedly." Very popular theme for anime. :-) I liked the way it came out (after much tweaking!) I used an IBL AO light set I created which has become my current favorite for doing realistic lighting. Not perfect, but not intended to be. The scene also has atmosphere enabled. The trees are bitmaps I created by rendering 3D trees. The explosions/beams/trails were created from various primitives with flame materials applied. Smoke is postworked. This time I think kudos are in order.
