macronaut and texturistBIOHello dear reader/viewer.....My name is Adam, a New Zealander resident in Brisbane (Australia). Photography, 2D , Collage & writing are my chief joys.I hope you enjoy my work, which i describe as abstract-intuitive experimental. My focus is natural and artificially sourced colors & textures particularly. To paraphrase Foucault... 'I am not who I was yesterday...' and I thank God for that! As a Christian in the born again camp following Christ struggling along through the victorious path of surrender and close fellowship with Him, the sidelight of creative self expression has become a great privelege and joy in my life. For inspiration I thank my Lord for it... and acknowledge His handiwork - the harmonies and design elements of nature. He makes all things work out for those who love him and are called according to his name and purposes. (Romans 8:28)
Please enjoy the work of the great artists I have listed below... the photographic images below collected from here on rendo I think are pretty neat too!

We in the world of fossicking call it 'foam' underlay.... Exactly what it was doing under this seat I can only suppose.... My supposition is that the occupant of the car's backseat had a severe case of piles (not piles$$$$) and that the extra foam padding provided comfort when the ole jalopy seat wore out and the springs broke... I'm priveleged to have been able to fossick around the local wrecker's yard with their blessing (he gives a cheerio to 'the yanks')

LOL!! I once heard of someone putting a fish under the seat springs of a guy's car...the poor stiff raised hell with the car dealer thinking the smell was a defect. As usual, not covered under warranty:) Very original work my friend!!

More than just a textural play, it has meaning and personality, it tells a story. Great focused shot, and I mean focused as in thought out, the worn material, the extra padding, the apparent age of the seat... Very evocative piece, makes me want to see the car and the owner and ask them where they've been...
