Description

Watching the sea we can see what's moving through the Channel, and sometimes it's just a ferry, but this time we saw a clipper, and I thought, let's add the teleconverter to get that interesting clipper a bit more detailed. Here you can see the result! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia II 100, 300 mm and 2X teleconverter) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

That clipper has an almost ghostly quality about it! Quite incredible to have been able to capture it at such an obviously far distance - not an easy thing to have done.

It could be Captain Cook who discovered Hawaii? It does appear to be a ghostly ship. Excellent shot. Aloha

I thought for a moment it was returning from Trafalgar but then a clipper is a round the Horn ship and unusual in the Bay of Biscay or the North Sea. Nice fantasy of the Flying Cloud playing the role of Lost Dutchman.
