That's what happens when you can't sleep, you end up alone with your thoughts, sometimes it's a bad thing and then sometimes it is a very good thing...Tonight, it was a good thing.. :-)

in autumn in particular, i love to catch that pre-dawn light where the world is still fairly monochromatic just waiting to give birth to its colours & sounds once again... there's such a peaceful feeling for me right before the colours start to bleed into everything, and it feels as if those brief few minutes were meant just for me at times... looking at this, looking out the window & across the alley to the hint of buildings that stand there, and i'm struck with a similar emotion... quiet, calm, a moment out of time where i'm capture and wish to linger... what a real treat... thank you so much :))

Alex, this work is wonderful. Seems like such a generic word for something that hits so close to home, but I suppose I'm at a loss for words a little. Beautiful, dark, haunting, and powerful all at the same time. Here is a solitary soul, born of the darkness, and yet he is unshakable. :)
