Description

The title "Sanctuarity of Solitude" came up in one discussion in 2D Forum few weeks ago. Actually it was Suzanne (claridad) who used those words - and I took them at once into my imagination, and into my heart! :-) I've painted this in Painter and in PhotoShop. And I hope this fits also to the 2D Forum's July Theme - Balance. Thanks for viewing! And thank you so much for your comments! :-D

This is no less than a fantastic, beautiful, serene painting. So much emerges from it that talks directly to my heart. Soooo lovely and beautifully done and so fitting for a hermit like me, I feel deeply for it!!

Beautiful! I love the way you put the flowers in her hair. Looks like they belong there. Such a wonderful detail in your work. Bravo!

Something solemn about the eyes, the small, white, delicate, unassuming white flowers and a prayer being said. Well put.

....this is quite a beautiful , heart-felt painting - exquisite handling of colour and composition -- I love the sense of depth and bold use of very light flowers surrounding her thoughtful face --- in lesser hands the bright flowers would pull the eye away from the subject -- but the she's rendered so strongly that they work beautifully together! I'm just really knocked out by this piece!
