an experiment in trying to create impressionistic sculpture

Wow I like it, very nice. I knew it was a sculpture as soon as I saw it. If it is supposed to be wood though I think you should make it less shinny or put a bit of texture to it. I've been thinking of doing a model of Hugo Robus's "Despair"

I think this is marble, and looks fantastic! The materials are very 'photorealistic', if you can say it to an abstract piece of art.
