Description


We shipped Dwarven Village WaterMill, and now we are doing the Inn. We internally debated about the inn vs what we did with watermill, especially since with the watermill we borrowed some design concepts from Anglo-Saxon burials and a true-to-life watermill in the UK. Dwarves naturally live below ground, but they would probably bring as many building conventions possible to their surface buildings -- more so where comfort is important, like an inn. For this reason, there is much less "peat" in the Inn layout and much more stonework, with columns and a more sophisticated chimney works, but maintaining less than organic shapes.

Forgot to mention but yes, we work in Max 7. The final model render will get posted, of course.

Hi Wyndwalker, Im thinking about doing more "native" items in Volume 2, or perhaps larger standalone pieces, like your Dwarvish Mine idea. Right now Im trying to keep as consistent as possible across the races for Volume 1.

To me this reminds me of dwarves..sort of squat in stature..but strong and sturdy.
