Description

My last post for some time.. back to nature. I'm leaving for Romania to shoot Bea-eaters, a lot of macro's, old and lived portraits.. pictoresque towns with cows, pigs, geese.. people working on the field.. landscapes.. Ah well, gues i'm going to shoot a lot :D so I hope to be back in about 3,5 week with a lot of wonderful photographs to share. Warm regards and hugs, Johannes

This is a beautiful image Johannes, I really like the composition, I do wonder what it may have looked like with a tad adjustment of contrast. I am thinking that the waterlilly should be giving off a reflection? Maybe it is my monitor being too dark? Will have to calibrate it and check back to this post again! Hope to be seeing you soon! :) Edit Adjusted monitor settings, sorry it took so long, I can see the hint of a reflection here, I still think that a little adjust might bring out more! :)

beautiful compo... i don't know... my monitor is set lighter then most, hard to please when it comes to the correct contrast... the reflection is good as is or could be lighter but i like it... enjoy your trip & take care will look forward to the new pics ;]

This is really gorgeous Johannes.I love the black water and the lily looks so elegant where you have it.It has a very minimalist kind of japanese feel to it.Its simply wonderful.Oh and yes,have a wonderful trip!I have no idea what Bea-eaters are but uh,ok!LOL!Make sure you get a pic of one to show me when you come back! :)

Wish my waterlilies would bloom this year. This is just wonderful. The composition is dead on and I love the tone of the water against the flower.
