Description

It's been a long time. The summer holidays arrived here in Denmark a few weeks ago, and man have I been busy! I spent the first week touring Germany and Switzerland with the Hovedgaard School Orchestra, then 2 weeks with my family on Corsica and I now work as a lifeguard at the local pool. I spent many hours on Corsica taking photos for future matte projects. My new image Sart

Whoa, Fantastic! I don't know what I'm looking at (mix of photo and 3D? 2D painting?) but whatever your technique, it is terrific. So good! Vote!

Wauw! What a response :) Thank you everyone! Linkdink: It's a mix of 2D painting and photomanipulation. I'll be writing a "The Making of" for my website soon, describing my techniques. All let you know when it's up. Again, thank you!

From where we stand (everything gives the impression of us being down in the valley and looking up, for example the extreme perspective of the house) we should see the bottom side of the bridge. Apart from that it's (of course) very good work.

Aenes: I'm sorry but I cannot see what you mean. You are standing at the other side of a valley, looking at the bridge and house at the other side. What do you mean by "extreme" perspective the house? I'm sorry but I don't see what you mean? Studying the photos I've used, the perspective is correct. Thanks for commenting everyone :)

The atmosphere is just perfect. After seeing your 3D images, I wonder what you need those 3D programs for. Congratulations on those images of yours published on art books. I know that the day they publish one of mine, art would have lost all its meaning. 8-) Excellent job. Vote.

WOW! What a totally stunning image this is! Just perfect! Excellent work, which reminds me of "Where Eagles Dare"! (Regarding perspective, I am seeing this at roughly the same level as the bridge itself, i.e. looking accross from a height on this side of the valley.)
