Description

Hi everyone.. Yep I'm still alive.. for the most part. I just bought Bryce5.5 from Daz.. This was my 1st render using it.. Not much difference from regular Bryce5, except the menus are cleaner and better organized. And the renders do seem a bit faster. This image is a simple pure Bryce mountain and lake, no touch-up. It took about 30 hours to render using volumetric settings and about 15 minutes to set it up. Hope you enjoy this simplistic serene scene.. Not my usual material to be sure.. but I have lots of stuff to deal with lately.. So let's just call this a quicky piece.(disreguarding the 30 hour render time..lol) Hugs and Love to all.. Maybe this weekend I can get something decent knocked out.. like the next page of Chira? *** Dave :^) ***

Hi Dave ol Buddy mighty nice to see you posting. Beautiful work on this landscape. Ya volumetric has a way of sending those render times through the stratosphere. But there is a plus side you have plenty of time to drive to "Crystal Lake" cool off and return home in a relaxed mood. I here and see via news channels that you are getting real hot dangerous weather in you neck of the wood. For three weeks we have been in the 90's in my area too hot keep in mind this is Canada. Super work! "V" George.

Glad you are back, Davester! Please send this lake my way, having a heatwave here and our central-air decided to go on vacation! LOL! I'm glad you got the Bryce 5.5, let me know how you like it in a couple weeks, K? I feel sorry for George, 90's in Canada! Whew! At least here I know it will be here sooner or later, just don't like the sooner! LOL! Wonderful lighting and haze, it looks so cool and lovely! Well done! :)
