As far as the lighting....if any of you "artists" had any schooling in art, you might realize this is a monochromatic-style image...the lights wouldn't be yellow. Bogwoppet, if he is going for a monochromatic look, has rendered this correctly.

Nice work Tony, you're getting there. I agree about the lights. White was definitely out (forgive the pun). They could only just manage yellow in those far-off days. Sea is definitely better, I know how difficult it is to get the 'feel'. Lookin' good. Bravissimo.

The grey cloudscape, subdued lighting and fantastic composition work perfectly with that amazing water and to me at least, the scene is perfect. Sure, dingy, smokey yellow lighting would be more authentic but it would completely spoil this magnificent image :-)
