BIOHi all, I work as an illustrator at the Sydney Morning Herald
in Australia. born 1961.I always wanted to do 3d and 2 years ago, I played around with Adobe Dimensions and Strata, beforebuying Cinema. I really love it, and prefer it much more to 2d illustration. My 3d work now gets published regularly at the newspaper, but my favourite is the stuff I do for this site.My website:http://johnshakespeare.com.au/

"Dispelling myths"... good Lord, you've just frightened me into creating some food phobias. My cat is cowering behind the curtains after your fish gave him the evil eye. Not your usual style, but there is that typical excellent quality to it. The textures are superb, but the greenish goop and the soya spill feel weak in comparison to the scales and the chicken skin. I've been scared into voting for this one. Delightful!

I like how the fish is the focus. It's hands down my favorite model here. Super cool.

He does look pretty scary. Are you sure he's food? Seems that whoever he's looking at might be the food.

Nicely done ! Although, the fish makes me wonder who's going to eat whom.

I agree on the fish... He looks like he's eyeing you for a meal! Excellent scene!

hey thanks everyone.glad you like fishy.it was a challenge to turn a harmless salmon into something scary- I was going to exaggerate him originally, but it seemed to work just making his eyes bigger and scary looking, and adding teeth. strata- the green stuff in the container isn't meant to be anything, just lucky!
