Description
Ah, for some of us, the idea of a good time is a good chair, a good light, and a good book..or even a bad one..;) As someone who has way too many paperbacks (over 2,000), I've likely 'wasted' much of my life on other times and other worlds..but then I remember a short story (I think) by Checkov, about reading, and having nothing else to do (was made into a Twilight Zone..so here's a l'il salute to all those delicious moments in between the pages..
Vickie 2/3rds, Swat team boots and pants, J Trout's fishing vest, spaceship and platform by me in Blingder..enjoy..;)

I really like the gold processing plant in the background; I'd like to see what it looks like just by itself. One nitpick: if it's abandoned, wouldn't the lights be turned off? Or is that part of the mystery?

I love sci fi short stories even better than books. Just don't do a render based on the short story "In the Barn" by Piers Anthony. I think the processign plant is just inhabitied by peopel who were too hung over to take the last flight out. Great work on the book cover.

They don't call them perfect bindings for nothing. I remember my first paper backs about hot rods and high schoolers and a few Erskine Caldwell. Sci Fi was for comics and earlier. So she has her work cutout for her to realign the respect.
