Description
A stranger he was, and, as a stranger, the folks of the village were wary of this massive man, so obviously a warrior of some sort.
Then, late one night, the Beastmen of the forest had attacked. Not singularly, as was their wont, but in large numbers. And it seemed that all was lost for the people of the village. But it was the strange warrior, who had no loyalty to the village, no duty to it's people, who had stood his ground before the hord. His great sword ran red with the blood of the Beastmen until it had finaly sundered against a stone wall. Then he stood, weaponless, and faced the Beasts with only his bare hands and massive strength.
But his courage and ferocity had given heart to the villagers and they rallied behind him, forceing the monsters from the village and back into the forest!
So now the village gifted this saviour with the only thing of value they possesed. The Sword of Wisdom, left in their care so many years ago. Told to not give up the sword except to one who they knew would use it's power wisely, the villagers knew they'd found that man!
