Description
I wonder sometimes if it isn't entirely possible that treasures stored in our attics confide in one another. After all... they reside in complete darkness all year round... are baked to a crisp in the summer months and frozen solid during the winter. The drone of human conversation on the floor below fails to mention their worldly goods for decades at a time... and when a snippet of conversation seems to momentarily speak of their rescue... it turns out to be too much trouble.
Aunt Flo: "Do you still have the vase that Uncle Amos gave to Aunt Sally on their first wedding anniversary? The one with the pink flowers and the blue cherubs dancing on ribboned feet?"
Aunt Daisy: "Oh, yes... but it's in the attic... and it would be too much fuss to get it down."
Banished to total darkness... nearly forgotten... too much fuss to unearth... and you have a recipe for bonding and the telling of secrets.
Grandma's pressed glass sugar bowl: Well... I swore I'd never tell another soul, but the seamstress slipped two of the best silver teaspoons into her apron pocket while m'lady was arranging scones on a plate in the kitchen.
Great Uncle Pete's mantle clock: You know, I never did trust that woman... too many years of holding pins between her teeth gave her the look of a shrivelled pumpkin and she had those beady little eyes...
I realize it sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone... but...you never know... do you? ;) UF3 for fractal... with frame and sig in PSP7. Thanks ever so much for the amazing and wonderful feedback on "A Moment Like This..."... and thank you all very much for taking the time to have a peek at this one! Hugs!! Helen :)

And the treasures, not quite forgotten, that dwell within our sleep only to come forth in our dreams, perhaps whisper to these others. Like this treasure here that you have created! Superb! V

And now Aunt Minnie's pearls are being held together by the web of a spider that crept into the box back in 1962. A lovely nest for a spider.

Truly gorgeous! The real treasures are our memories.

I believe that my treasure resides in the friends around; although they seem to be little by little just a number formed by one digit - they all marry and forgot "the others" - I cannot fight the current! strange thing, isn't it? [...] in the attick our hopes and our childhood dreams are resting - we're very lucky because sometimes we remember those dusty stairs and remember our child soul...happiness is on the road again. hugs [love your fractal]

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and the words come from the soul. Put the two together and you have a Masterpiece. Great work.

The average attic has many secrets from the past years. You search your store of possible colours, forms, styles and shapes. Out of your treasures you share those which might fit your theme. What brilliant forms and colours you have to share--we simply marvel !! I'm off to my attic to imagine more. Much thanks for this beauty.
