Description
I think I did have a story, but it has taken so many hours of rendering to get this far that I have forgotten what the story was. The setting is "Olympus Mons" from DAZ.
Lucretia is from 3DCommune.

Very cool picture and a great idea, too. I also like the setting and admire the work you put into the image. It has some glitches though. The right hand of the first woman looks awkwardly twisted, and maybe you shouldn't have put that much reflections on the ladies' arms.

I don't think her hand rendered ideally, but I can make the gesture that she is making without putting my back out :). It's meant as a silent order to one of her subordinates to peel off and investigate an outhouse, or something. I take your point about the reflections. Changing them will mean re-rendering the whole scene, so it may not happen immediately. I think that my choice of colour is what is wrong, because it makes the arms look like a very shiny flesh-tone, which wasn't what I had in mind. I also need to do something about shadows, which seem to have vanished altogether. Many thanks for taking the trouble to share your thoughts.

I straightened out the commander's index finger a little bit and changed the colour of the soldiers' gloves. I also added a sixth figure on the left.
