Description
This is my second render in C4D and was an experiment that revolved heavily around different maps per texture. There is a bump, specular, color, reflection, diffuse, and alpha map for each coin. The floor has 3 (alpha, bump, and color). I also tried out the multi-pass render feature and found it worked awesome for post work corrections. I know it is not perfect, but I am pleased with the results. It took me a full day to create all the maps needed and modify them until I got the desired effect. All comments and suggestions are welcome.
I'm having so much fun learning this awesome program.

This does look great and very realistic. My first thought on seeing it was that you were venturing into a new gallery and had posted a modified photograph. Great work! =)

Thanks all for the comments. It seems like I put much more into the simple scenes that I do because there is less to work with. To alexmit, yes. It was rendered with C4D render engine, I was unaware of any other way to do it. Maybe someone can explain any other method to me. I love to learn.

I would really like to see a wireframe screen shot and whatever you used for a reference (photo?) on this. This really is a little too amazing to believe. No offense intended, I'm just intrigued with how you got to this result.
