Description

This is what I came up with when asked to do an illustration for a Printer's brochure to promote the new MetalFX print technology. What is revolutionary about the MetalFX process is the ability to create up to 16 million metallic colours from just 5 basic inks, (a base silver and the normal CMYK overprinted). As well as creating a base 5th channel for the silver, I modified the channel further by creating areas for HoloFX (making selective areas appear and disappear) and LiteFX (making selective areas appear to change colour as you move the page).
