I don't know what it is about chess set photos, I luv 'em! Wonderful light and I like the reaching hand. It makes it an "action" chess shot! ;]

Wonderful depiction, but a little too close-up for my taste. I would have created a checkmate situation. Still, your photograph is absolutely great. I like the tiles, too, and the concept of having no black or white ones.

I like the closeness. Though having the wider frame makes a 1024 monitor have to scroll.Still an excelllent capture.
