Description
This work spun off very quickly, and that for some reason always surprises me! To me, it has a strong Myan influence and, interestingly, I was just reviewing my photos of my trip to the Tekal National Park located in Guatemala only the night before!
Enjoy, and as always your comments are cherished and I love the feedback! :)

This is wonderful. It appears to be a wood carving at first look. I looked further and the "wood" appears to be lots and lots of faces. It is almost as though the main figure were a Mayan god and he is worshipped by a crowd or it is the souls who accompany the god in his world. Is my imagination too rich? It just has that deeply spiritual quality to it. Fantastic!! Excellent work of art.

No less deserving of bravo than your other works. You have somehow taken the abstract and made it inviting and warm. I'm with claridad. The knurls and knots around the masklike geometry stroke the imagination. This is enjoyable and fun to look at. I'm not a great admirer of abstract, but these wood-tonal works are making me rethink my position
