The plane in the foreground appears to have lost the canopy! Otherwise a very nice image. Thanks

Sorry Tracker. He's just slid it back to get some air and probably see better. O.K?

well, a lot of work clearly went into this one, from render to postwork. my only two comments would be in regards to the first pilot (no canopy) and the plane's propeller. all the same, great image! :)

Beautifully done. My thoughts went to an old friend who was a B17 Pilot - who was up close and personal 3 times, just thinking of his stories ...

To ratfugel : the 109 canopy did not slide back in any version. Instead it hinged to the right side of the cockpit, like early MiG-21s (albeit a few years later..) Otherwise, a good image, especially the background photo.

Hooooya!! You seem to have a real knack for putting great looking planes in majestic clouds.

As mentioned by others you have a real ability to put the viewer in the scene. I really like your composition. Small quibble on this one. The Bf109 canopy hinges on the side and opens that way. It can't be slid back like most US fighter aircraft. Thanks!
