Description
Another female Golden Silk spider from my recent adventures. This is a slightly smaller one, with the top of it's body facing me. Again, I had to get underneath it to get this photo. I really like the web dissappears around this one and it seems to be floating in the air. If you'd like to see the image before I cropped it, I posted it in the Forum HERE. OMG! This is Perfect!! A perfect macro! This photo could easily be shown as a perfect image of the Golden Silk in any magazine! We don't have these types of spiders where I live so it seems very unique and quite incredible to me with those hairy leg bands. Bravo on a perfect Macro! VOTE :-) (Love the blue background too!)

I do not like spiders but do have respect for them and understand their importance in our eco system. Even though the web disappears do to the angle of light, one still can see the two strands that hold up the spider. From a technical standpoint, this is a perfect shot for a book.
