Description

Well not true desert, but pretty close. I live on the edge of a super volcano that resides in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. While out at Water Canyon, named for the rain it actually gets, I was looking around and noticed all the volcanic rock around and then looked up and saw this. I pulled out my tripod and tried my best to get a good photo of it. What you are looking at is one of the rims of the volcano, although I need to do more research to provide more information on it. But I personally think its a great shot. Comments are always welcome Cheers, Jared

It's hard to get a feeling of great height in photos, but this definitly gives a feeling of power. Nice job.
