I feel as though Hand Christian Anderson stories are coming to life as I view images from this forest. The depth of richness, punctuated by these lavender Foxgloves and sheltered by trees casting shadows, I begin to believe that Elves or mythical creatures hide just beyond the trees in the darkness of this forest. Corinna, your enchanting photographs capture the essence found in paintings of the German Romantics as Caspar David Friedrich (1774-1840).
