Description

Do you know the feeling? this was painted from scratch in Photoshop. I'm rather pleased with the way it turned out, considering I've never pained an elephant before. hopefully I will get better with time and prectice. thanks for viewing! :)

Excellent work! Don't know what you would want to improve, the elephant has a distinct style that's unique! Wonderfully done! :)

-One of my favorite expressions. The concept is good, as is the Photoshop painting, you got the ears right, but the head bothers me a little. There's an old art school phrase "Why guess when you can find out?" I'm perfectly okay with a stylized, cartoony elephant, but the head needs a little more structure, the eyes are kind of pasted on the front of the trunk, which is kind of continued up into the forehead area, giving the whole formation the look of a large carrot. One is not sure what the tusks are connected too, or coming out of. The wrinkled texture is clever and accurate. Pretty close though, with a good technique that shows real talent. I love elephants too, that's why I'm being a creep. :-)

Great work Anat. Great subject too, highlighting the trouble with elephants, they always hog the TV remote!
