Description
I was inspired by an article by garrick webster ( editor, computer arts ) entitled " photorealism isn't everthing " were he puts forward an argument that computer art should not try to produce photorealistic images because creating images that look just like photographic prints and then showing this ability to joe public is just going to generate a " so what. " response.
I think He's right to say that we should find new ways to represent form ,light and colour and leave photorealism to the camera. That said here's a rather poor attempt at playing with light, but maybe it will inspire someone with more ability and talent to take up the challenge.
