The colors are really amazing, I've never seen red on a Dragonfly. The clearity is really sharp, but what really impresses me is I can see the details of the compound eyes.

Excellent macro capture ...beautiful detail. About a week ago I found one of these guys dead on my patio table. It was the blue/green variety and was quite large. They are one of man's helpers by eating many other pests like mosquitos.

OMG a damsel! She is soo beautiful in all of her finery. I just love the effervescence (Did I spell that right?) Damn, Does getting old mean you loose your gift of spelling too? Excellent photo!
