Description

Well I wasn't dead or anything.... just completely overwhelmed by my other job ! Mind you, Terragen is not a job but a kind of relaxation...something I had not done in a while. Also, excuses are excuses I guess.... Anyway I have started to take a look into all the wonderful works that you have been pouring out into the Terragen galleries and it is almost a scary thing to post !!! This production involves a terrain which I unfortunately forgot where it was taken but it was called Namibian Sands. I apologize to the author. I did not use sandy surfaces but gritty ones. The exercise was one in mood and atmo mostly. I hope you enjoy this image. I am somewhat rusty and should get back into the hang of things in the next few months. Yeah...I know, I have said that before.......!!! Take care all !

I think it looks really great! The textures are what do it for me... the sky isn't bad, but the texturing and composition of the terrain is very realistic. I think that this is one of the best Terragen I've seen. My vote.

You still have plenty of fans, Paul! Your surfaces are awesome and the texture of the terrain matches perfectly with them. The lighting highlights the superb textures, too. The hazy atmo and dark sky matches up to make a moody but warm work. Excellent artwork.
