Crathes Castle Garden Hey everyone!Guess what?!It's time for another Scotland pic!Aren't you thrilled?????LOL!!!! This is another view of the garden at Crathes castle. The sun had just come out and it could not have looked any prettier!It is honestly one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen.I tried to do it justice by showing the size and dimension of it in this shot.I took a bunch like this at different settings and this is the 'warmest' of the them.Unfortunately,the sky became nonexistent!So I had to do a little,ahem, 'doctoring'.As you already know,(because I've said it a dozen times,lol),I have no idea what I'm doing!!!And I totally can't be objective about what I've done here,because I worked on it waaaaay too long...and now it nauseates me!!! Oh well.It is what it is.I'm know there are so many of you that could have done a waaaay better job of it than I,but I simply can't look at it anymore.Sigh... That said,I still have hope that YOU will like it.I did,at least the first few hundred times I looked at it!LOL! This sky's expression is very good. Flowers' colors look better by becoming cloudy though the blue sky is also good. Amazing colors & very good composition!! /|:o)

OMG!! Marlene you have outdone yourself with this shot!! I can only dream what it must've felt like to actually be in such a beautiful garden!! It's magical and yes...like a fairyland! The colors ...WOW! A perfect POV! LOVVVVE the castle up on the hill and you did a Perfect job on that sky! No one would've even known you touched it if you didn't tell us all!! LOL Absolutely gorgeous!! VOTE :-)

You sound like me .... at least you're making the time and got the patience to try doing postwork!! I think you've done a great job on the sky and I love all the gorgeous colours displayed. With this POV I can just imagine myself walking up the garden path pausing every so often to smell the flowers :) Got me dreaming of summer and the garden rambles we have here.

Perhaps one could do a lil more with that sky (not me, but ..) .. but that's not important at all - in fact without your text i wouldn't even have noticed it. Wonderful garden, great depth and that castle (?) is what makes it perfect. Marlene in wonderland :-) And - to add at least one minor nagging - perhaps removing that green line in the lower right part? g

wow this is so incredible. Every time i see this shot it looks even more beautiful. Its hard to believe that a place like that exists somewhere . it looks so perfect, strait out of a fairy tale. Each image you show from scotland is so amazing because they play with your imagination and make you think of stories to go along with them. so cool! love you!-p
