Description

Hellooooo!!! On the other side of the stream in our backyard, up the hill...i found this horsie. I was on my way home from taking some photographs at a nearby lake, when i saw his silhoutte against the setting sun. And what an amazing sunset it was. Sooooo bright and colorful. I actually had to desaturate this one...probably the first time i ever did that, LOL. You can find the original one in the forum here. By the way, i have to thank all of you that helped me decide which direction to go with it. Hope you like this one.....oooh ooooh, and wow WOOOOW! A HUGE THANX to all of you that left such amazing comments on yesterdays panorama of that stonebridge. I guess i had every reason to be proud of it, LOL. Have a wonderful monday!!!! Andreas #:O)

I'm actually amazed how little postwork you've done on this. That must have been really quite some scene right at that time with the mist and the horse coming towards you under that astonishing sky! Kastakan

Wonderful Andreas ! This horse with that light, and the mood... it's really perfect ! Is he alone in this place ? no cow-boy with him ? ;-))) I've seen you 3 versions of this shot. This one is fantastic for the colours of the sunset, but the one in sepia was very good too... Have a nice week my friend. Hugs.

It almost seems as if the horse was emerging from the point where the clouds converge. Perfect pov for this shot - so amazing!

Hi Andreas. It still amazes me that this is the DE-saturated version!Wow what a sky. It's totally breath-taking.And there you are with that gorgeous sky and a HORSE just HAPPENS to pass by?OMG!Could you BE any luckier?!!!!Jeez some guys get all the luck, lol.Well you know I liked the sepia version, and I hope people get to see that one as well because it really was beautiful, but in a totally different way. That one looked more like a watercolor while this is an out-and-out spectacle. Both are fabulous. You da man!Mr. Mist AND Mr. Manip AND Mr. Sunset! How many hats can you wear?LOL!;)-M

There it is!! You did a perfect job on this. I still think the original is amazing, but it does take away from the horsie a bit. :) I love the mist....very mysterious and beautiful. Amazing work as usual!! :)
