Terragen and Terraformer
I want to Thank Patricia. PPeterson for some feedback she gave me on my gamma problems I was having. Also I finally got my husband over to my computer to help me with my moniter and my display settings. It was set on 16bit colors not 32 bit.
This image was frustrating after bringing it in from terraformer, I found the perfect POV, and got the environment, atmosphere/cloudscape,sun , basically I was done with the image, even had a nice image size, Had my gamma all fixed the image was perfect, The best thing IMHO I had ever done.
The POV And area of the map I had had manmade structural holes in the pyramid. The pyramid itself looked eroded, however there was still some nice holes and cave like areas around the structure. It was perfect. I started the render and about halfway threw my computer froze. I went on knees begging the Goddess to make my computer come back, because I never write down my camera heading or pitch. I cannot find the area on the map. And I spent hours looking. I am sure I will find it again someday.
I do like this image still, and I hope you do as well.

LOL am laughing at your lost image, only because I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me. I now have a small book I write down settings in, although I have to remember to write them down, if I want to do that image again. Excellent POV/mood/lighting and your gamma is super. Keep this up!!!!! And glad hubby decided to take a look see again. :)

Excellent image, love the skies and everything about it. It's too bad you lost the original image tho. I would love to have seen that one take final shape!

Hi Rae do you not save as you work along a sure safe guard for image loss. This one is excellent I think it is one of your best great POV, atmo and color. "V"

You had a case of TG frustration? Why, that never happens to me... (right). Best advice: save a world file. It'll put you right back to where you were, with all the textures & lighting.

I love this image. As one of the lucky few that got to see at least partailly the image she is speaking of it was gorgeous. I take great pride in watching your images get better and better with each one. I can't wait to see your next one.
