This is the same tree as my last photo, but from the other side. Looks like a giant Bonsai.

Superb shot! I am quite sure that the natural processes that produced this poor twisted cedar inspired Japanese bonsai tree art: put them in a pot, starve them and sculpt them. I have seen photos of 800 years old bonsai trees!

a lot of wind there!!!! i've seen something like this near the sea of my town... impressive to see this solitary tree with this architecture! makes this shot very surreal!

Superb image, but have to agree about the right side crop.. Yes this tree would be far bigger if the terrain had been a little more hospitible.. Nature often provides the inspiration for such things..
