Description
This is the Grand Place of Brussels, Belgium. I have been living there for more than fifteen years and yet, everytime I cross this magnificient plaza, I stop and look around - I am sure most people believe that I am a tourist everytime I go there, judging by my expression of awe.
Most buildings were rebuilt after the 16th century, after many destructive wars. This is where you can find the quaint little museum of beer and learn about the various artisanal methods used by Belgian brewers. You can also by some of the best home-made chocolate in the world - if not the best. Or, if you wish to relax, just sit down at a terrasse and drink one of the eight hundred Belgian ales... Repeat the procedure the next day. :)

It is a wonderful photo. I've tried to capture the square lots of times, but either your camera's better than mine or the (weather)gods were in your favor. What time of year was it - summer (on the left) or autumn (on the right)? Oh, well, in Belgium you never know! :) Nice job!

Well, I think I have to comment this one... I'm always very proud when people admire the Brussels' Grand Place ! Your image is beautiful but probably a bit too large for the screens... why don't you resize it ? :~)
